Pinnacle Sportsbook Review

Since joining the sports betting scene in 1998, Pinnacle offers players a different approach to sportsbetting. Pinnacle prides itself as the leader in offering the best odds with the highest limits and at the best price for the customers. The reduced juice, lower than the standard 10%, in this sportsbook has made it as one of the most popular and most player-friendly online sportsbooks in the world. The sportsbook focuses on professional and more experienced gamblers rather than recreational players. Pinnacle is licensed by the Netherland Antilles Gaming Commission. It is available in over 100 countries and 14 different languages. They left the US market in 2006 adding it to its list of restricted countries along with France, Turkey and Netherlands.

  • Bonuses

Pinnacle is not for players who are looking for extra incentives when signing up with a sportsbook. Admitted by the book itself in their promo pages, “Pinnacle does not offer the typical bookmaker sign-up bonus,” but would rather go with their “unique internet betting promotions (that) are far more valuable…” The argument against the unconventional approach is, of course, weak as they are one of the best sportsbooks in the business. For people who are looking for those extra incentives and bonuses, like with initial deposits, reloads and alike, then Pinnacle might not suit them.

  • Payouts

Withdrawing at Pinnacle is easy and safe because of the variety of options and the reliability of the selections. This includes getting paid via Neteller, Web Money, Moneybookers, Entropay, Instadebit and ClickandBuy among other online methods. Pinnacle offers one free withdrawal per calendar month for most methods. Speed of your payout depends on the payout process used and the amount of money being withdrawn, getting your money at Pinnacle is generally safe and reliable.

The minimum deposit at Pinnacle is $50 and players can fund their account via Visa or MasterCard credit cards, various debit cards, Moneybookers and Neteller among other options. It is important to note that because of the large scope of customers, Pinnacle may accept different deposit methods from one country to another.

  • Product

While Pinnacle has below average scores in the Bonuses and Customer Service categories, we had no problem giving them a perfect score in the Product category. Simply put, betting on Pinnacle is a tremendous experience. From the simple design of the website to the non-conventional yet effective software it uses, Pinnacle delivers a product which is both easy to use and understand for the new sports bettor and for long-time betting professionals.

As expected, lines are available throughout the day for multiple sports and are posted months/weeks/days/hours before the event. Pinnacle is one of the sportsbooks which posts their lines very early—most times ahead of other books. The list includes events in all the major leagues on all continents as well as lesser known regional sports in Europe and North America. They offer international soccer, basketball (NBA and NCAAB), American football (NFL, CFL), hockey (NHL) and fight sports (Boxing and MMA) among many others. To show their versatile sports betting line-up, Pinnacle even opens betting on StarCraft online tournaments!

Of course, what makes Pinnacle special is that they offer a reduced juice on all sports on all lines. The usual -110 odds in most sports book is available at Pinnacle for -105 or even as low as -102. For the long-term and for big bets, that’s a big difference compared to winning in other books. Finally, Pinnacle doesn’t profile and restrict winning players like some other books do.

  • Customer Service

Pinnacle’s customer support service is very, very limited. The only available medium is via e-mail which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. While their customer service representatives are prompt and knowledgeable, we believe this is not enough because there are many cases when issues are not properly resolved by mail alone and even at times can be the cause of more confusion. If not for a great help section in their website, Pinnacle would have gotten a 6 or lower score.
